WHERE ARE YOU?
White Salmon, WA + Portland for the greater half of the night
WHAT'D YOU DO TODAY?
Spent most of the morning + afternoon working and editing videos.
Then around 5 we made our way to Portland to make the Drink + Draw event held at our favorite studio space, Outlet. :^)
Drew many, many strangers (and glasses, (sam and I posted different strangers, promise)) and later, after dinner, we crashed at a friend of Sam’s for the night.
HOW YAH FEELIN?
White Salmon and Portland have been so good to us, but I’m itching for a change of scenery. I’m hoping all goes well with Joey so we’ll be able to travel the rest of the way with little issues.

WHAT'D YOU DO TODAY?
Woke up feeling kind of ehh. Luckily, we didn’t have anything big going on so we were able to spend most of the day working and resting. We all made some good progress on editing videos. Interviews are hard to edit because we’re cutting down an hour interview into 5-10 minutes. Everyone we’ve talked to has had hours worth of amazing things to say so it’s tough selecting the right response that connects most to this project and also not feeling like you’re curating their answers.
Around 5ish we made our way to Portland. I fell asleep right away, sorry Sa(h)m. When we got there we went to Kate's sweet little studio, Outlet for her Drink & Draw event. A lot of design students were there and it was crazy to see how many of them were big on illustrating. Makes me wish we had an illustration class in our school :/
We went to a Thai place for dinner, the service was 10/10 and the soup made my insides feel happy.
Also, thanks to Sam’s friend for providing us with a living room. Got to test out the sleeping bag and realized I should probably get a real pillow instead of the ones we use in the interviews.

I have never sneezed so much in my life. I’m lucky to have my lovely friends who bless me every single time.

Six turdy am bike ride with the parents, so good.
Long day editing at Dog River Coffee.
Drove out to Portland for Kate’s Drink + Draw event at Outlet. Sat around looking at strangers all drawing each other + eating rainbow goldfish (rainbow’s kinda seem to be Kate’s thing).
Got free sweet mango + sticky rice.
Took over a friend’s living room + watched the first half of Life Aquatic (for like the third time).
HOW YAH FEELIN?
Started energized, then accomplished, ended too self aware. Everybody has those days.
PSA: rainbow goldfish are not vegan. bummer.
