WHAT'D YOU DO TODAY?
Traaaaavel day, but a short travel day. After a meditative mornin’ we packed up our stuff and set our sights for a cute little cafe nearby to get some work/stuff figured out both project and life-related.

Our check-in for our airbnb was at 3 PM so after a couple of hours we left to get to CHICAGO and meet with Ray, our host. After greeting him, we settled in and grabbed some tacos + burritos from a restaurant up in Pilsen.

We then went to Stan’s where Sam grabbed a donut, and although we wanted to stay in the city for a little longer, we were also all extremely exhausted and drove back down to our Chicago home. Ended the night watching Chef. :^)

HOW YAH FEELIN?
Can’t believe we’re in Chicago!? I feel like we've all been bracing ourselves for this city because it was our biggest interview city and now we are here ???

WHAT'D YOU DO TODAY?
Woke up (it seems so silly to write this everyday, liked duh I woke up…). Anyways, we had our last slow campground morning for a while so really savored the ritual today.

Sat in a coffee shop (short drive + late check in time, we had to do it), and real life stuff started creeping up on me (and I think the rest of the gang). Getting stressed out, but keeping my cool.

Made the short drive to Chicago and were welcomed to the neighborhood by all the high schoolers leaving school after their first day :)

Then we showered. It had been 5 days since the last time. I’m a hat person now thanks to that experience.

Starving and drooling over burrito pictures, we went to dinner and got a sneak peek of the city.

We ended the night watching Chef and drooling over food on screens once again.

But first lemme eat breakfast. Slowly. And grab a coffee. And try to figure out my entire future by means of the next job I can get. It was that kinda morning. A whirlwind of potential directions I can go with the money making portion of my life for this year, which was both exciting and disappointing at various points in the two hours we sat in that little coffee shop in Sawyer.

But then we drove, only an hour and a half into Chicago to meet Ray, his fam and his beautiful dog at the Airbnb we’re staying at. We all showered immediately cause it’d been FIVE FRIGGEN DAYS. After which we were all very hungry so we ate some burritos, grabbed one of Stan’s donuts from an overly enthusiastic employee and then headed home for the night. Last, but definitely not least… I finally watched Chef! And it was amazinnnnggg. I get it. I love it. What a dream.
