Rod Cavazos

PSY/OPS 

Rod is the founder and a typeface designer at PSY/OPS Type Foundry, professor at California College of the Arts, and Chief Creative at Glyfyx Inc. Without formal training, Rod started his career in type by working at a print shop where he found graphic design. Now that it’s his day job, Rod finds himself drawn towards more expressive, experimental, and abstract tangents around type. The work that Rod does is a surface manifestation of his fascination with the power of language and its impact on humans and culture.
