Day 41:
so fresh, so clean, so fun.

Chicago, IL

WHERE ARE YOU?
Chicago

WHAT'D YOU DO TODAY?
A picturesque Sunday at the laundromat.

Followed by work + coffee at Bridgeport Coffee.

After o’ couple of hours, we went to get groceries + some chocolate milk (for important interview purposes).

Round two of guac and I’m not even mad.

Ended the day with some Weeds (I swear Dana’s just bringing us down her list of favorite tv shows, but no complaints there either).

HOW YAH FEELIN?
Busy, but sweet day of errands. I got to see + speak with my sister for a bit as she herself was making her way across the country, so that was super nice. Ty for the words + warm clothes. :^)

WHAT'D YOU DO TODAY?
Had a day off, aka ‘sleep in’ aka I woke up at 8am? Who have I become.

Such a good day. We went to the laundromat. It was so much fun. Watched TV in the car.

Worked at a coffee shop and met up with Sahm’s sister on her way back to Seattle, what a gem.

Went to get groceries. Looked for chocolate milk. Couldn’t find little bottles so settled for a big one.

Made gauc in our room. Watched more Weeds. Talked to Shahar, good talk.

Bed.

HOW YAH FEELIN?
Bloated.

WHAT'D YOU DO TODAY?
LAUNDRY DAY.

Su nueva lavanderia <3

It was fun. We watched Weeds in the car. Then we worked for a minute @ a new cafe and MET SAHM’S SISTER. Sweet pea <3

Then we got groceries and drank too much schoco (just call me adon schoco kids) alongside another stellar round of guac. Finished the night off with more Weeds and a lil research for our first two person interview tomorrow! Really excited to learn more about The Greater Good.

HOW YAH FEELIN?
Really sluggish. I think too much coffee and no water. I think swapping those numbers is a good call. Also feels good to have clean clothes. On another note, I’m really nervous for tomorrow. Maybe not REALLY nervous, but more than I have been, which has been surprisingly like not at all. I really feel like I’m getting the hang of this interview thing and I love it. Talking to people, having an excuse to ask them any questions I have. I think y’all know that by now though. I feel like I’ve said that so often. But I think the churnin’ in my tummy is probably telling of 1. We’ve never done a two person interview, and 2. The work The Greater Good does is probably the closest to what I think I want to do. It’s so exciting but also feels like there’s more pressure to do a good job. I know I can do this though. I just have a lot more research to do tomorrow. So g’night journal.
